Newport Town Council invites you to commemorate the sacrifices of our armed forces and civilians during times of war.
Armistice Day Service
Monday, 11th November 2023 at 11:00am, Newport General Cemetery. Gathering at 10:45am outside the Chapel of Remembrance
Join us for a poignant ceremony that will include:
- Last Post: A solemn tribute to the fallen.
- Two-Minute Silence: A moment of reflection and remembrance.
- Wreath Laying: Honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony.
