Exciting Times For Church Eaton Primary School

Author | 07 November 2019

On Monday 21st October ’19 there was a Grand Opening ceremony at Church Eaton Primary School located just outside Stafford, to mark it becoming a member of Staffordshire University Academies Trust.

The integration of the school will bring many benefits such as improved support in relation to technology and maintenance, improved resources, along with a new school website. It also brings access to the expertise of highly accomplished academy committee members to help the school achieve its’ full potential, with the links and support from Staffordshire University.

Keith Hollins, the C.E.O of the Trust, officially opened the school with this new status and led the special ceremony, along with Head Boy and Head Girl. The pupils performed a number of songs for parents, grandparents, members of Local Academy Committee and local community. There was also colourful confetti for added effect! Refreshments were provided for all by Chartwells. These are very exciting times for the school, which will soon be opening the newly refurbished kitchen- so delicious, healthy, freshly cooked meals can be provided for the children and staff.

Church Eaton Primary School is classed as ‘GOOD’ by OFSTED. Nursery places are available at this nurturing, rural school where pupils thrive in a caring environment with strong family values. The school offers the option of wrap-around care for Nursery pupils. There is also a before and after school club on-site, which is invaluable for working parents.
