Students from Burton Borough School in Newport have raised cash for a volunteer-run youth project in the town.
They took part in a charity sports week to raise more than £161 for The Hub, which is run by the Newport Youth Café Project to provide a space for young people in the town.
Year nine and year 10 students visited the High Street base shortly before the Christmas break to deliver the money raised.
The Newport Youth Cafe Project started in 2013 to provide a space for the young people of Newport.
The Hub is based in the centre of the town, in High Street, and hosts a volunteer-run cafe, function space to hire and weekly youth club.
As a registered charity, the profit from sales in the cafe is invested into events and experiences for young people.
Their ambition is to see the young people of Newport have the opportunity to train, work and reach their potential through a community run cafe and public space.
The sports week was one of a series of charity fundraising activities supported by Burton Borough students over the past few weeks.
The school also raised more than £186 for Save The Children from its Christmas Jumper Day and lunch at the end of the last term.
“It was a heart-warming occasion, and wonderful catering team deserve huge thanks for hosting a delicious lunch,” said Burton Borough principal Caroline Bedford. “It was wonderful to see both students and staff enjoying the festivities together.”
