Newport Farmers’market is run on the 3rd Thurs of each month, and
is well worth a visit. Located in The Square and also by the Butter

Remembrance Sunday
8 November 2015
- A procession of the Mayor and
dignitaries, including Scouts and representatives of
organisations, and the Newport Chamber Chairman parade
to join in a Church service at 11am.
It is followed by the laying of the wreaths by the representatives
at the Churchyard Cenotaph. Names of the war dead from
Newport are read out by the Vice Chairman of the Newport
Chamber at the Cenotaph.
