School Bus 3D
Free for Android
If you’ve ever wanted to get behind the wheel of a big, brash, bright yellow American
school bus, then here is your chance. Gameplay is simple. Drive the bus around the planned
route, picking up children as you go, aiming to safely get them to class on time.
It’s great fun, with fab graphics too, as you hurry along the streets, dodging oncoming vehicles with
one eye on the clock. The first run is pretty simple to fulfil, but things soon start to get really tricky and it
becomes all too apparent that the designers of this game were sympathetic to the daily toil involved in
transporting children.
In fact it gets so tricky, perhaps the game designer was a former bus driver with a grudge? Who knows?
Great fun from one timetable to the next.
School Bell
Free for Android
You know the unmistakable noise of a school bell. It’s the happiest ‘brrrrrrriiiiinnnngggggg’
that a child can experience at the end of a seemingly endless school lesson.
We’ve all been there folks. Double mathematics on a wet Tuesday afternoon, Shakespeare in
English on a sunny Wednesday morning, and all you wanted to do was make that end of lesson bell chime a
few minutes early, signifying time to pick up your belongings and leave the classroom.
This natty little app is perfect for pranksters everywhere. Hit the bright red bell on your screen and stand
back.
Now let’s be honest dear readers, this is unlikely to work in reality, but it is a nice idea nonetheless.
Ring the changes this term.
School Lunch Maker
Free for Android
It’s lunchtime. Other than hometime, this is probably most kids’ favourite time of the school
day. In this quirky little addition to your apps library, take a tray and select food from a
tempting menu.
Will you go down the healthy route with a juicy apple or mouthwatering slice of watermelon? Perhaps you
will opt for a juicy burger, served with French fries?
Whatever you add to your tray, don’t forget to fill all the slots for a delicious balanced (ahhhem) meal. We at
All About magazine particularly liked the look of the doughnuts with chocolate and sprinkles. If only a lick of
the screen was as tasty as it looked.
And once you have made your selections, don’t forget to take a souvenir photo.
All very ridiculous,
but a tasteful bit of fun.
