A new Pig on the block
16 years after starting their first business in Newport, Steve Bellerby
and Jenny Smith thought it would be good to start a new business to run
alongside Smith Bellerby Ltd, and Stripey Pig Limited was born!
The new “piglet” provides simple, easy to understand
communication solutions for small businesses,
delivered by friendly staff who don’t use jargon and
won’t try and baffle you with technology.
After managing large mobile phone fleets for clients
like easyJet and South Staffordshire Council for the
last decade or so, Steve thought that there was
an opportunity to deliver tailored deals for each
customer, and save them money at the same time.
“We’ve been handling telecommunications for large
corporates for the last 16 years, but I wanted to
get back to dealing with local business people in a
friendly manner, with a bit of fun thrown in for good
measure – hence Stripey Pig!
